120 trainees joined first Rohtak batch in February
- 120 new trainees start this Monday, 4th July
Project Vayu, ETASHA’s set of programs for students of government ITIs sponsored by Maruti, will enter its third exciting stage on Monday when another 120 trainees at ITI Rohtak begin the SPEC (Spoken English with Confidence) program on 4th July.
Following on the success of the Spoken English & Employability programs at ITI Gurgaon that began in May last year, the project was extended to ITI Rohtak in February, and attendance rates and feedback have been excellent. The current six batches finished mid-June.
Mr Rajeev Khurana, who heads the ITI Project team for Maruti said, “Rohtak students’ confidence has definitely increased as has their motivation levels; now we just need to find a way to maintain their motivation levels outside the classroom.”
Mr Vashisth, one of the four-man team from Maruti that oversees the organisation’s work with the ITIs said he is very happy with the progress in Rohtak and looks forward to the next batch starting on Monday. “We hope that the positive word of mouth will be enough to encourage the new students to join the batches and are arranging for past trainees to meet with prospective trainees to share their feelings about the program.”
